About The Project
The Child Care Justice Project is a movement for unifying low-wage and low-status workers across the nation and disrupting racial, gender, and economic injustice this country faces every day. Through our toolkit, book, and podcasts, we provide the resources and provocations to raise the critical consciousness of like-minded activists who are working to overcome systems of oppression and marginalization.
About The Book
This book is a call for 21st Century social justice activists who are willing to apply their heads, hearts, and hands to the work of examining the past to propel us to the future. A future where determined, dedicated activist work together to: give voice and witness to the historical, structural, racist roots of child care in the United States; apply social and political capital to upend inequity, and injustice in the child care industry; exercise courageous, compassionate, and applied critical leadership
as child care agents of change.
